This is the reason why people are quitting. If a game doesn’t listen to their PUBLIC community they are gonna be suffering losses of players. This shows a example of removing the classic bean without even having players vote for it.
If Rec Room just could bring back the classic stuff back the game may grow in popularity.

ngl I’m wondering if rec room did this cuz they wanted og players to leave the game due to them being less likely to spend real money for tokens/RR+. RR see’s older players as an expense cuz RR paying for the servers to stay open while we aren’t giving them money in return. Also cuz og players are more likely to use classic bean, which doesn’t support UGC items (og players already own pretty much all RRO clothing items), where as FBA/upgraded bean players can spend money on tokens to buy whatever UGC item(s) they want. To summarize, rec room is js being greedy trying to make more money and lower their own expenses.

we need classic bean body back asap this update messed with the player base alot most of the people are moving to vrchat. Rec room leagues are not finna be the same for example basketball league we can barely shoot with these new physics that comes with the new bean there’s many glitches like putting Ur hand under Ur neck it lags out quest players its a big issue because half our player base is quest so please bring back classic bean.

Honestly, should still give us the choice. The choice to remove original bean bodies was not needed imo.
The game is dying but rec room is just money hungry. Bring back the game with used to love in our heart.

I was really hoping you guys wouldn’t remove it, and honestly I don’t know why you have to I think it’s a poor decision. But at the very least, please add a toggle for the torso not to be bendy and make the new bean also more compatible with the V1 costumes. I’m making a movie on RR and it’s almost done filming, but all the costumes are CV1 and when a CV1 costume is worn by new bean it looks weird and the torso no clips due to the bendy torso.
At the very least please consider keeping a way to use classic bean still because otherwise I will have to delay my film to have ALL the costumes transferred into CV2 costumes. And not saying this (at least completely) in selfishness, I’m also thinking about the community as well. This will also affect rooms and especially older rooms with the CV1 costumes, the rooms still active that use them will have to transfer there’s over too and it’ll be an utter pain for them too. Please make the smart decision to either add these other toggles or to just keep the option to have classic bean. Thank you
