I havent been able to see cause I have been at college, I didnt see this in the update notes, did they add the Bigger Hands option?
I don’t like it I don’t think anyone does ur gonna loose loads of ppl on this game then it will be a dead game pls get rid of it

They have a bigger hands option in the settings > Experience. It’s a toggle button that Goes from small hands, to hands that are too big… lol

GOD FORBID The Rec Room devs call it a modernization. A cleaner, smoother, “more expressive” design. I call it corporate minimalism gone rogue. Why must everything in the digital world start looking the same? It’s like some unholy merger of Duolingo mascots and mid-tier NFT projects.
Sure, maybe the new “bean body” is easier to animate. Maybe it works better on mobile. Maybe some focus group said “it’s more appealing to younger audiences.” But where does that leave the rest of us—the veterans, the players who helped build this game’s culture and community?
We didn’t ask for this. Nobody said, “Hey, I love Rec Room, but what would make it better is if everyone looked like a squishy traffic cone with eyes.”

A Message to the Developers
To the Rec Room devs—please hear this not just as a rant, but as a plea from someone who loves this game. You’ve built something magical. A space where people from all over the world connect, play, laugh, create, and express themselves. But this update chips away at that magic.
We understand the desire to streamline and polish. We understand that design trends shift. But what made Rec Room special wasn’t polish—it was personality. And personality can’t survive if everyone looks like a marshmallow about to do taxes.
Give us options. Let us opt into the old style. Let players choose how they want to be seen. Don’t tell us what’s expressive—let us express At the end of the day, Rec Room is still standing. The games are still fun. The community is still passionate. But there’s a crack now—a disconnect. Every time I log in and see my avatar, I feel just a little less present. A little more like I’m playing someone else’s game instead of our game.
I’m not asking for the world. I’m asking for a face. For a shape that feels human. For avatars that reflect the chaos, creativity, and individuality that built Rec Room into what it is today.
Until then, I guess I’ll keep walking around as a disgruntled bean—arms flapping, eyebrows twitching, wondering what we lost… and hoping someone, somewhere, is listening.

Never in my life have i ever worked with them. 
Most of my time is spent helping this game’s entire sandbox community, does not matter how “terrible” things go, i always just hold it in.
That update might’ve calmed down some corny clans from ruining things.
After about a whole day of using this update, i can safely say that we are, for the first time in ages, less toxic than we’ve ever been since 2018.
Now, i may of joined in 2018, and had played since mid 2017, but I’m definitely no ‘Classic Bean sympathizer’. Upgraded bean is an improvement through and through, and the minor issues with it are either easy to word, or unrelated at all.
They made the animations toned down almost perfectly, and it doesnt feel awful to run in VR anymore.
They also gave us the hunchback, which i appriciate.
The only real issues i have with UBA, is that the body is higher up than BBA [Classic Bean’s legal shortname in the files], making the hunchback feel a bit extreme.
You know, funny thing, they said that this would replace Classic Bean since its first Dev Blog! Maybe if you guys read even a bit of their Blogs and Updates, you’dve known that it was going to happen sooner than later!

Classic Bean was classic, and I wish the RR development team would’ve waited to remove the classic bean when the new bean body is fully refined.
RR is buggier than ever and the new beans are not very good. Please bring old bean bodies back until new bean body is actually ready.
When “personas” get added i’ll make the switch but, right now RR is too buggy to run. Old bean bodies would work until its fully ready.
(For those who don’t know, “personas” will be custom animations used with the new bean body, so you are able to replicate the old bean perfectly.) Confirmed by a developer
