During the most recent AMA, a topic that piqued my interest was the mention of a “Status.” I noticed a lot of people expressing the desire for a status feature similar to what exists in VRChat. I believe this would be very useful, as it could help those who want to set their status to “busy” to avoid invites, or “available” to allow others to join them regardless of their location, even if they are in an invite-only room (if it’s their instance). Overall, I think Rec Room should consider implementing this feature. It could be a great addition to the game, helping to reduce spam and allowing people to appear offline to avoid certain situations.

It’s primarily to prevent people from being spammed and to help ensure that they don’t feel alone. It allows individuals to express their need for companionship and encourages them to invite others to join them. This approach could also motivate people to make more friends or keep their current friends engaged, without the need to constantly send out invites.!
