Shape render settings

I love that work is going into optimization with the new way shapes are Rendered. Yeah it does lead to some weird looking visuals. However if thats the price to pay for better performance i’ll take it! However when it comes to some things like environment. It leads to some issues. Especially with the contest map we are working on. Thats why i think there should be a toggle to make certain objects stay the way they are. By default this will be off. But if you config a shape it will be one of the top options. Next to it there should be a disclaimer that says it could lead to worse performance. Idk if i explained it well. But the way i see it. A room’s optimization should be in the hand of the room’s creator. If they want to put visuals before performance. They can! same with the contrary!

We’re looking into some rendering issues after the current update. Can you list the room where you’re seeing any issues? Or please describe the objects / circumstances where you are seeing objects struggle with rendering that are leading you to want to exclude them from level of detail / resolution changes.

If you make a bug report Recroom staff can pull appropriate logging to better troubleshoot the issue!
