When the new shape Render update was made It caused alot of objects in our room to become weird blobs or just straight up dissapear! I like that effort is going into optimization. However the way it is currently being tackled is a bit problematic for certain maps like ours! especially with the environment. The environment doesnt really feel “environmental” when you cant see it! So i hope more work is going into these systems so maps can still be well… Visible. But one recomendation i have which i think could be a Really good way to tackle this stuff is with Room render distances, shapes will be rendered normally when up close. But decrease in quality the further they are from the player. (similarly to player models.) But the best part is that Room owners could be able to change this! in suboom settings there should a Render distance section. Here there will be 3 options: Large, Medium (default), Small. This would fix alot iffyness that the system currently has while also letting creators choose if they want it to affect their rooms More or Less. This was just an idea i had that i think would be great! If it doesnt see the light of day thats fine… But i think it is a great solution.

Our room relies on players being able to see things at a really far distance (2000+m). Ability to set a distance in meters would be more useful for us than small, medium, large.
