Yes, I know they had to do 1,200+ submissions, which yes, that’s a lot.
I believe it’s been over a year though since they accepted submissions. What happened?

The tutorial program is not the main job of a staff member. It is something they do on their free time. Right now they are too busy to be hit with another 1k+ videos. This happens a lot in this program, just have patience. In the meantime, you can make videos to better your video creation skills and make tutorials and other videos without the program being open.
Hello! As far as I know the Video Tutorial program is waiting for Rooms 2.0 to become more stable because the focus of that program when it comes back will be on Rooms 2.0 tutorials.
When that moment happens, I’m sure there will be an informative post here, in Discord, and elsewhere providing you instructions on how to participate again.
The second Brigadere’s comment, you are still welcome to create tutorial videos to help others if that is what motivates you. If so, thank you!

Since its focused for Rooms2, will Rooms1 tutorials still be accepted?
Whether Rooms 1.0 tutorial will be accepted has yet to be determined but I do know there will be a focus on Rooms 2.0. We just have to wait for the program to come back to know the details. Thank you for your patience.
As it stands, if it is run by the same team (which it more than likely will be), Rooms 2.0 will be a requirement.
However, here is a forum post about improvements that we can make to the program to keep it open more reliably.
