The “Verified Creator Badge” would be a way to allow high quality Rec Room creators to become verified even if they don’t post social content. This can make them more reputable and easier to distinguish from fakes or frauds. Possibly even allowing them to obtain support codes? This would be awesome!
Welcome to the Forum! This would be a great way for creators to gain recognition as genuine creators. Adding creator codes would make it easy to identify real creators but would also be a great way for making money for all their hard work
1000% agree, this would help smaller creators a lot as well.
Awesome idea! What would the requirements be?
It could be hand reviewed, maybe high sub count (to prevent everyone from getting it.) as a side requirement. One of the biggest requirements is that they have actual good rooms, not just a lot of money, and that they are very active. Maybe even some type of requirement for a certain amount of featured rooms?
Love the idea the requirements would be;
- Great Moderation History (Ofc).
- Having good rooms (Not low quality map creator).
- Has some sort of Events like mentorship, Teacher, Workshop-host, or people who do Contests. ← Mainly just sponsor-club!
- Optional Having a sponsor-club I mean mainly for like being some what to people like through their club/community!
The concept of a “Verified Creator Badge” for Rec Room is excellent! It would help high-quality creators gain recognition and credibility, even if they are not very active on social media. This badge would allow users to easily identify genuine creators and differentiate them from imposters. Additionally, providing support codes could offer creators a way to monetize their work, further encouraging quality content creation.
To implement such a badge, certain criteria could be established, such as having a specific number of high-quality rooms, a strong moderation history, and active participation in community events or workshops. This approach would ensure that only dedicated and reputable creators receive the badge, thus maintaining its value and significance.
Love the idea and would love for this to be implemented into the game!
