I made my feedback about it a while ago. My idea to the new bean body during it's full integration - #3 by 03113
I fully understand Rec Room’s decision to move forwards and evolve the bean into the next version, however I feel the legacy bean should remain an option for players.
I have played Rec Room on and off for many years spread over a few accounts, and using the legacy bean feels familiar. I like the style, and I think the clothes look better on this bean.
Many players use the updated bean and FBA, but I think for nostalgic reasons, Rec Room should keep the legacy bean, even if they do not release and more clothing or body features for this bean.
one of the worse idea recroom came up with never asked for never wanted never needed never should of existed recroom is just gonna lose a loyal player base just for money

Personally the issue is the animation speed for the throw I hate it
I just saw the update, it’s ugly asf, the characters are messed up, the bodies are messed up, the movements are messed up too. The old ones were much better, almost everyone agrees.

Exactly, I just canceled my rr+ subscription and I don’t think I’ll even play the game anymore..
Why are people overreacting so much over this? You were warned for months, new beans have improved heavily since their initial alpha, they’re very close to the old beans nowadays. The biggest difference is that the new beans bend and move slightly differently.
The new beans allow the bean body to benefit from the many (mostly technical) improvements that FBA made - think of the ‘upgraded beans’ as more of a movement to a new avatar codebase, rather than a complete overhaul. Rec Room are actively taking feedback and I’m glad that’s happening, especially when the community is the hellhole it is - I mean, just look at this thread.

I’ll just mute this topic for my own sanity, many people damn know the reason behind this change already, it’s irreversible.
If you REALLY want it back, consider emulating it, or setting the default values to reflect on it, Using a default old bean body as a reference.
Good chance you will come back from time to time, but if you do not want to ever interact with the game anymore, consider deactivating.
