Maker pen shapes are super unoptimized and don’t support occlusion culling. There is a lot of performance to gain with them. The solution a few creators use is the unity “FBX Exporter” addon, which does not include the materials the maker pen shapes use.
So, I am proposing a tool that allows creators to convert their objects into prefabs, which contain the models and materials for that object, using a menu.
Having a Maker Pen to Prefab converting tool would be super helpful in optimizing performance, allowing for better framerates. It would also enable talented creators with the maker pen to create detailed models and then download and export them into other programs.
