it would be like the tube but Instead its a plane. you would spawn it in and then add or delete points as you need like when your editing a tube it would have a smooth future so it can be a smooth face or it could be not smooth with a ps1/ps2 vibe its kinda like blender, you would use this for grass or complex characters this is so you wont need to use really flat tubes and connect them from the sides witch is hard and very cost effective on ink/fps.
Heres an Example of how it would work in game
omg. this would be perfect addition. I am always trying to figure out to do exactly what you describe. I have done art and origami for 40+ years. I have been wanting to do some items that are origami inspired but need a lot more flexibility in adding, moving, deleting points, etc. I am going to definitely follow this and watch for it to be considered and hopefullly added.
Love the depictions of the tool, makes it very easy to understand! This would be very nice, however this does kind of border on just a mesh editor like blender.
Perhaps RecRoom implements a mesh editor with a material manager? It could bridge a gap between RecRoom Studio and Makerpen. But that’s a stretch so idk
its like probuilder in rec room basically which is AWESOME, this would be SO USEFUL for making quick maps with only a few objects and it would be pretty cost efficient right?
theres basically no reason rec room shouldnt add this
