This month the guest team will be ‘super secret guest’ team. I wish I could say more about this team but we’ll have to take the team specific questions from the live chat this time since the work they are releasing won’t hit until just before the AMA. If that work is delayed for some reason we’ll move them to the Jan AMA and go right into the general questions. For all of the general creation questions + RRStudio questions, leave those below using our standard format!

Rules for anyone we bring up on stage during the AMA:
One question per visit to the stage. A very fast and RELATED follow up question is ok but you should have one primary question
Ask your question in around 30 seconds or less. No long 3+ min questions. If RR staff want more context we will prompt you to hear a story or longer explanation but keep your initial question quick!
Any plans to bring back rec rocks?? It was a really well made concert event and it was made by creators and rec room collabing, I belive that it showed off the tools that creators can make concerts with
Will Rec Room revisit inventions anytime soon? There are all sorts of things there that haven’t been touched in a while like invention/page sorting/scrolling, invention tags, and what i’m most interested in—editting permissions. Premium inventions are locked to “use only” but so many inventions it would be really beneficial if they could have a “can edit” permission between “use only” and “edit and save”.
How will you improve inventions? Maybe the RR team could add an easier way for this like allowing the creator of the invention to put a special tab on the invention talking about multiple participants that helped with that invention.
What will you be doing for RecRoom Sponsored leagues in 2025? Players would like to see more sponsored leagues & More active liasons which we have not been getting.
Will you guys bring back any older discontinued programs like invention tower and featured inventions/dormskins? These programs were really beneficial to me 2-3 years ago and afaik the only way you really can get your invention out there now is from rec room gallery.
Will there ever be any updates on art supplies? Examples would be: giving us layers to work with, adjustable marker tip sizes, magic paintbrushes, manipulating whiteboard/canavs sizes (changing the exact height and width of the boards) etc…
Can the RR team try to improve circuit organization? When I’m circuiting on a huge project and continue it the next day I don’t know where to start because there’s just a big mess, I even try to keep my circuits clean (I always have) but if it has like 80+ Circuits And I revisit It, it’s way harder to continue off where I ended because I don’t know where to even begin.
