Honestly recroom should make RRS more user friendly that would be amazing tbh

We got it, but at what cost?
Sharing screen appears fine locally, however the server renders it all white.

also the desktop audio stream is way more broken than before.

I’m so so happy about the transform tool, that one has been the bane of my existence for a loooong time, i think it may have existed for as long as the transform tool, i dunno how it took so long to get around to it :sob: It would very often cause situations where you miss a handle on an object, accidentally moving an object past it, and then have to meticulously manually position and rotate it back to how it was since there would be no undo button.

The automatically stopping flying though, i am seriously upset with, it makes no sense to add it! I’d argue as many as hundreds of thousands of people specifically go out of their way to create an admin role or enable flying for everyone, with the explicit purpose of being able to fly after dropping their makerpen. If they didn’t want that to happen, they wouldn’t give themselves a role to circumvent it. I’m shocked it wasn’t at least made a toggle and was just forced upon us out of nowhere.
Quickly dropping and grabbing the makerpen is a great trick that has likely existed as long as the makerpen itself. It can be used for

  • Exiting containers, circuitboards, and animations
  • Properly picking up or equipping/unequipping an object you’re working with
  • Briefly hiding circuits from view to look around
  • Deselecting objects when you don’t want to swap out from your current tool to the select tool

All of that is gone if you hoped to do any of it in the air.
