I found this Rec Room fan-project called Radium, and it’s supposed to bring back the feeling of old 2021 Rec Room, such as classic bean, weekly challenges, etc.
When I first thought of this, it got me thinking… what if you can export your rooms and inventions from Rec Room, into Radium, so you can continue working on them in the new game?
Also, I heard there’s a discord server for people to download the game, but I was thinking they should put it on the Quest App Lab store, too, for the people who don’t have access to discord.
They have an @Importer bot, with an #import-requests channel on their Discord, so this is partially done:)
I was thinking of a feature in-game.
But they only accept rooms made before February 2021 bcuz they’re on that version, and so, how will they check it in-game?
I have heard about Radium, but there are some kinda sus things about it, so I’m going to not join it and neither are a lot of creators like JeremyInVR and EnergeticRuth and stuff. I think it’s better to wait for someone to make a new, official Rebirth of Rec Room, instead of trusting some suspicious people who run a server that could quite possibly still shut down too, so I’m just gonna work and see.
