Hey,
Hear me out—whether or not you decide to replace the current Rooms 1.0 with this is entirely up to you, but please consider adding the option to bring back Limits V2!
For most people, Limits V2 was far better than Rooms 2.0. The newer system is harder for most to use and has more bugs, while Limits V2 had little to no bugs and provided a great balance. It allowed for a lot of ink while still maintaining the functionality of Rooms 1.0, which was optimal for many creators.
This is exactly why people are selling these maps—because the older system worked better for them. Bringing back Limits V2 as an option would be a huge improvement for many users.

Rooms 1.0 wasn’t designed or well optimized to accommodate higher ink limits; that’s why Rooms 2.0 exists. Limits V2 at its conception, was a limited test to see how far you could push Rooms 1.0, which ultimately resulted in Rooms 1.0 getting well over double the available ink. Any more and you need an entire refactor of how room creation works, hence Rooms 2.0.
If you know what you’re doing, Rooms 1.0 has more than enough ink for most creations. Maybe try looking up tutorials for ink optimizations if you’re running short. For the most part though, working with Rooms 2.0 isn’t too different. Yeah it has some bugs, but so does Rooms 1.0.

In my opinion yeah but I did see the issues back then with rec room servers getting absolutely demolished so maybe what they could do is bring it back but drop the max ink limit to around 500 to 1000 and also add [A setting] - a setting not a feature that’s always on and can be toggled off- to completely block lower end devices from playing these rooms like for example switch and Mobile and have this to help newer creators instead of some weird AI
tbh i think ur fine until you run out of copies i have like less then 10 im using them wisely because ik i cant copy my work so i agree they need to re add it but like just for copy mab because limits v2 was just an experiment for rooms v2 with eh ink and the fps thing
