Zero Gravity chip works weirdly?

PC

Were you alone or with other players?

How often does the issue occur?

Always

Description

The new disable Gravity chip doesent work like zero-g for some reason. Firstly if you apply someone an horizontal force vía add velocity or just bt moving with the joystick you should keep floating with a constant velocity, but instead you slow down until you stop. Which makes no sense? Secondly, if youre in the ground you get like stuck to It for no reason and the only way ti unstuck is if you jump. Lastly, if you move while touching the ground and then jump youll have a weird constant force applying to you even if you use a set or add velocity. This is annoying me because i want to make a space Sort of Game but rn im not really able to and have to resort to weird methods like seats and animators.

I haven’t seen this yet! is it in rooms 1 or only in rooms 2?

I think its in both. I dont remember the exact name but its smthn like “player remove Gravity” or “player enable Gravity” (It has a boolean input) or something like that.

is it in beta right now?

The chip is only in rooms 2.0 and it’s called “Local Player Set Gravity Disabled”.

For some reason it doesn’t work at all for me. I’m still in a gravity-well RecRoom! What’s that about being “against gravity”?

Odd, I tried using the chip, and it doesn’t work for me either! It’s in beta right now, so there probably are a few bugs here and there, maybe when its out of beta it would work correctly.

Never mind! It works for me now, for some reason I needed the bool connected to the button’s Is Pressed bool output before clicking the button. it only works for me when I jump, and stops when I bring out my maker pen

It stops when you bring out your makerpen because the makerpen resets you to default settings so you can always work on your room
I do wish pulling out your makerpen would stop set position and respawn chips too though, have had issues with that

It’s more of a temporary pause rather than a stop
