What does density do when configuring MPO?
Density changes the weight of the object based off its mass. Its not very useful outside of physical objects. As you can see, the number on each density material is the amount of kilograms the shape weighs per meter cubed of area, so a 1x1x1 meter cube marked as “Aerogel” would be 10kg
The best use-case of density I’ve seen so far is acting to displace the center of mass of an object
As an example, in the RecCenter a long time ago, there was a physical-object plushie invention, the bottom of this plushie was made of a sphere, and inside this sphere near the very bottom was another, really dense sphere. This offset the center of mass so that, whenever the plushi was knocked over, it would always roll itself back up because of the super heavy weight at the bottom
Thanks so much!
