We’re excited to share the latest update on Rec Room Studio access! As part of our phased rollout, 50% of eligible creators now have access, doubling the number of creators who can publish their room creations using Rec Room Studio.
To make it even easier to check your eligibility, we added a new “Check My Access” button to https://rec.net/creator/studio. This button gives you a clear, real-time update on whether you have full publish access, no guesswork required.
What’s Next?
We’re gradually rolling out access in stages to be able to manage the experience for all. Our goal is to have full access out to all eligible creators over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for updates to this announcement soon!
If you’re not yet eligible, don’t worry, you can still download Rec Room Studio today to check out the tools and get started on your projects. When your access is activated, you’ll be ready to publish and share your creations with the Rec Room community.
This actually has been the case since beta testing. As long as you are Room Owner or Co-Owner, you are able to both download the room from RRS and upload from RRS
Why cant yall have just give people access according to level or smth, like in quick succession, you could have gone, one month all lvl 50s - 45s that meet the requirements get access then the next month, all level 44s - 30s that meet the requirements get access, and so on and so forth, that would be so much easier, and the community wouldve liked that so much more. If you do like my suggestion, its not too late to start on this
i used to have access but it got revoked due to me uploading my actual face into it
its been more than 90 days ( around november 2024 is when my access was revoked and it is now july and my access is still not there anymore )
is there a way to solve this or figure out if permissions were permanently revoked?
I have a lot of projects that would be easier using RRS, but yeah, I’m very unlucky heh
