After the 50% layoffs, the creative community was left in confusion. No one knew what would happen to the programs. Many big inspirations and influencers began stepping away. However, thanks to the new Creative Club, we’ve managed to restore these programs, even though the community isn’t as large as before.
Rec Room has always been about creativity, and that’s where my point comes in.
With the introduction of Profile Badges, the Creative Club leaders could use them to highlight the people who run and represent each program.
For example:
-
Owner of a Sponsored Creative Club
-
Head Makerpen Teacher
-
Doctoral Tutorial Teacher
Players could see these badges and think, “Wow, how do you earn one of those?”
These badges wouldn’t just recognize leadership, they’d inspire others to get involved, learn, and grow. As Creative Club owners, Doctoral Tutorial Teachers, and Head Makerpen Teachers, we could use them to promote the programs, attract new creators, and guide them through their Maker Pen journey, possibly even helping them become future teachers or leaders themselves.
The Creative Club truly needs more support right now, and Profile Badges could be a powerful way to promote creativity, honor community leaders, and motivate new creators to join and make their mark.
