I’d like to suggest a potential feature that I believe could enhance the overall user experience in Rec Room and make the platform even more enjoyable and interactive. 
Feature Idea: A Shared Smart Video Screen
Similar to the video screen in VRChat, this feature would be available in all maps and allow players to share and watch videos together more easily. Here’s how it could work:
The screen is accessible by all players, not just room owners or admins.
Everyone hears the audio and sees the video at the same time.
Each player has their own volume and lighting controls — adjusting them won’t affect others.
Players see the external username (not just the Rec Room username) of whoever shared the content.
Sharing is simple: just paste a video link. No mixers or complex circuits needed.
This could make hangouts, parties, and social rooms much more dynamic and enjoyable, especially for casual users and non-creators. It may also help increase Rec Room’s popularity and engagement.
