Description
When I try to install RRS, it says “detected missing/corrupt files in unity editor installation. Please uninstall and reinstall the editor. This often happens if you remove the unity files after installation, so once you reinstall, don’t move anything🫃”, and yes, I’ve already done what it says, I’ve uninstalled unity five times, even the RRS setup itself, I have no idea how to solve this.

I have already uninstalled unity/rrs setup six times, both through “remove program” and through the uninstall.exe file.

At this exact moment I installed unity from the official website, and it still gives the same error.

When I encounter this issue, what I usually do is uninstall both Rec Room Studio and the current Unity version, then download Unity version 2021.3.29. After that, I reinstall Rec Room Studio, and the issue is resolved for me.
The RecRoomStudio launcher will install unity for you, if you completely uninstall Unity and RRS, and then attempt to reinstall RecRoomStudio that should resolve this issue.
Is there a reason you are moving your unity files after installation?
Moving the unity files after installation will likely continue to cause this issue.
As I had written previously, I have completely uninstalled RRS and unity six times already. And no, there is no reason to move the unity files, since I am not moving them.
Obs: I fixed the error
How: After completely uninstalling RRS and Unity (hub and installs), you need to install Unity via website first, after installing, install RRS, then it will be fixed.
Obs2: Maybe it’s a bug in the RRS setup that is installing Unity incorrectly.
