Hello Creators!

Rooms 2.0 is the future. Since Teachers are an essential part of creative learning in our community, we asking for your help transitioning to that new world. To recognize the work that goes in to being one of the first Teachers in this space, we’re offering a new, blue, Teacher outfit! We will also be collecting and prioritizing Teacher feedback to keep improving rooms 2.0.

This outfit can be earned in addition to your normal Teacher rewards just by hosting and completing a Rooms 2.0 Semester.

Classes are NOT required to teach a Rooms 2.0 semester, but if Teachers would like to earn this outfit, then a Rooms 2.0 semester must be taught.

Who?:

  • Any registered Teacher in a Sponsored Class

What?:

  • Teachers can earn a special Rooms 2.0 Teacher Outfit by participating in a successful Rooms 2.0 semester
  • There are 3 pieces to earn: Gown, Sash, and Hat
  • These rewards can be earned at the same time as your normal Teacher rewards
  • 1 piece will be rewarded to each eligible Teacher for each successfully completed Rooms 2.0 Semester

When?:

  • Teachers will be rewarded a piece of this outfit after successful completion of a Rooms 2.0 semester. This means that instruction has ended and students have produced Rooms 2.0 projects
  • Teachers can earn these rewards through all of 2025. If you participate in a successful Rooms 2.0 semester this year, you can earn these rewards

How?:

  • A Teacher must participate in the majority of lessons during a Rooms 2.0 semester
  • The semester must be hosted in a Rooms 2.0 Classroom
  • The semester must produce students projects in Rooms 2.0 Rooms

Why?:

  • As a community, we have always helped each other unlock the mysteries of creativity by sharing our knowledge to help others achieve their creative goals faster. What you have created in our community is greater than any Invention or Room. You have created opportunities for every Creator to become better at their craft and understand the creative process. It is in these communities that we find our greatest strength. With your help, we can continue this amazing creative journey.

I believe this is a fantastic idea for shifting our creative minds toward a subject that many of us may not know well but can easily understand. We will earn rewards by sharing our knowledge back with the community, which many of us value greatly. As a teacher, I hold my class and my students very close to my heart. I can confidently say that teaching is one of the proudest achievements I have had the opportunity to pursue over my years in Rec Room. I am excited to help shape the future, not only for Rec Room but for the creative community as a whole. I can’t wait for this initiative to be presented to me and to see all the new and familiar faces who will join me on this exciting journey!
