Reproduction Steps
Set maker pen to snapping, world space, grid, 90 degrees. Create circuit board chip. Change snapping to surface. Clone or create chips next to the original (supposedly on-grid chip). Do a bunch. Eventually, you find that chips on the far right are not aligned with the original chip. This causes the wires to go in front of chips, instead of behind chips. i.e. objects are not at 90 degrees, even though they appear to be. You can also create a cube the same way, clone it right and left. Rotate the right and left 45 degrees (using snapping), and try to position them along the front edge of the first cube. The 2 rotated ones will not match, again suggesting that the original is not on the room grid, or the room grid is askew compared to the maker pen grid.
