So, quick backstory before I dive into this (skip to the second paragraph for the suggested update): Recently, I encountered an issue while trying to set a key for a room-to-cost token. I received an error stating that my account was under moderation. At other times, I’ve seen messages saying that one of my rooms is under moderation. I’m unsure what could have triggered this or whether it’s even related to a room of mine. To resolve this, I submitted a Zendesk report, and as of now, I’m waiting for a response.
So instead of having to make a zendesk ticket for anyone who gets flagged for anything they should add a place where you can view the surface information about rooms/content under a moderation category, as this impacts creators significantly. Currently, they have to submit a ticket, which can take time and potentially prevent creators from earning income or executing plans for their rooms, which could impact their ability to deliver content within the app. At the very least, there should be a way to view this information on rec.net, perhaps under a “Moderation Standing” category. A warning notification within this section could indicate the moderation status; in this case, the notification would appear under rooms or the player profile. For better clarity, it should say the room name and subroom and if possible, guidance on how to resolve the issue
I and several others believe this addition would make a significant difference for all creators, offering them faster access to critical information and improving their overall experience.
