New Badge 2.0 System (Overhaul Cheer Badges)

The current cheer badges have been in the game for many years and are outdated.
What if we change that! (Crazy I know)

With this new Badge 2.0 system, (Created by @Rinu and @Jerry )
you are able to earn special badges.

These badges will give players some extra things to work towards and grind out.

Here’s a few ways you can earn some neat badges, some more simple than others.

  • RRO Badges

    • Beating a quest
    • Earning every reward from a quest
    • Earning every reward from EVERY quest
    • Getting top 10 on an RRO Leaderboard
    • Beating a quest without dying
    • League Winner
    • Daily Streak
      • Everyone has this badge, but the number on it shows your daily task completed streak.
      • Resets number if you miss a day. (Recover streak with tokens?)
      • Reach a certain streak, earn a free recovery?
    • Special Events
      • R/Place Event
      • League of Heros Event (Badge could be different depending on what team you are)
      • Rec Con (Earned for attending that year’s Rec Con)

  • Creative Badges

    • Makerpen Master
      • Earned by either manual staff approval or automated like having a certain amount of room visits along side of other things.
    • Circuit Master
      • Earned by manual staff approval (Could be automated, just not sure what circuit related things you’d have to do)
    • Builder Master
      • Earned by manual staff approval (Could be automated, just not sure what building related things you’d have to do)
    • RRS Master
      • Earned by manual staff approval (Could be automated, just not sure what RRS related things you’d have to do)
    • Avatar Studio Master
      • Earned by manual staff approval or have a certain amount of purchases on your items.
    • Popular Creator
      • Earned by reaching a certain amount of subs?
    • Top Earner
    • Contest Winner
      • Unique badge for each contest?
      • Maybe the outline of the badge will be different colors depending on what you placed
      • This badge includes Build, Art, Photo, Video Contests and Game Jams

  • Community Badges

    • Research Lab
    • Helpful (What is given in the Rec Room Discord)
    • Verified RecTuber/RecToker
    • Verified Tutorial Creator
    • Verified Makerpen Teacher
    • Verified Workshop Host
    • Verified Volunteer Moderator

It is located in the Edit Profile menu located on your profile.
It has different dropdowns that you can collapse and expand to show/hide badges
The dropdowns have a scroll like feature, this can also be turned into a “View More” like every other carrousel.
Badges have a little “i” icon that you can press on to get more information on how to earn the badge, and maybe when you earned it?

It’s a good Idea, I had posted the same thing but you explained It better, Hopefully if it is an Idea we could delete a badge If we wished.

I’m curious, what reasons would you have to delete a badge?

I suggested something like this a while back. People love achievements and badges and they should be able to work to display them.

Well, If we are talking creator made badges, we could receive an inappropriate badge that we don’t want, that is why I would like that to be a thing.

Oh, no, these are not creator made badges. These are badges that Rec Room themselves create and award to players for certain things. We posted examples of how you would earn the badges next to some of them.
