Invention Key Revenue Splitting

Many Rec Room rooms profit by placing keys on purchased inventions, often relying entirely on them. Yet, the invention market is struggling due to a lack of promotion, making it difficult for creators to earn meaningful revenue.

Revenue splitting could solve this. Why should a low-effort room earn more from my invention than I do? This system undervalues creators and discourages invention use. By ensuring fair compensation, revenue sharing would not only reward the actual creators but also encourage more high-quality inventions, benefiting the entire platform.

Always did think about that tbh. Like it would be cool if the got like 10%, but it just the way stuff works even outside of RR. You buy the product and do whatever you want with jt.

Not necessarily, if you want to monetize anything whether that be assets or content created from softwares there’s generally terms you must agree to monetization wize. If they don’t like that they pay 10% of the key purchase to the creator then they just shouldn’t use the invention.
