I think this is a dumb move rec room made but i may be wrong, what i think is wrong is that if you want to make paid keys and consumables, you have to have RR+, which is pretty dumb isnt it? i mean rec room would get more money everybody could make paid keys.
And the worst part? from what i know even IF you have a RR+ co-owner, and they make a paid token key/consumable, you cant earn tokens from that. (atleast thats what i think because thats what it says on the earning page)
rec room just PLEASE make it so we can add paid items without rr+
Rec Room has had it set this way forever…
They set it up this way so they could make money themselves, and now that their attention is being spent on making RR+ more desirable they definitely won’t be changing it.
It honestly makes sense the way they have it now and you’re the first person I’ve heard complaining about token rewards for creators being locked behind RR+.
And yes, you’re correct, you need to have rec room plus yourself in order to get your rewards, rec room also takes 30% of all your earnings, it’s like tax in economy.
