Connecting a shape and trigger volume in Rooms V2

if i want to connect a shape and a trigger volume together using cv2 how do i do it

You can do this by placing the trigger volume inside of the shape container.

First click on your trigger volume with the select tool and click the “Make Child of Target Parent” option.

Then click on your shape, in this case it’s a sphere. This will put the trigger volume inside of the spheres container.



You can do this for almost any object and component in room2. You can also drag and move the trigger volume under the shape’s container inside the hierarchy. Hope this helps!

nvm for some reason the trigger volumes don’t work

Hi @MafiaDaGoose what is not working with the trigger volume?

Also, the trigger volume circuit is nested inside of the object, you’ll need to either create all the circuits that you want to control with the trigger volume or move the trigger volume events to the scope of the room.

i got it to work by remaking thw circuits
