As we observe today, Rooms 1.0 are still utilized by some prominent creators primarily because they hesitate to risk losing their accumulated statistics. However, the current challenge lies in the absence of a secure method for transferring a Room 1.0 to 2.0. While this may not pose a significant obstacle, the primary concern is that popular rooms, such as TheBlackCat, may not be willing to create an entirely new Room 2.0 and have their cheers and revenue reset to zero. Consequently, I propose the addition of a button in Rooms 1.0 that facilitates the creation of a Room 2.0 subroom template, thereby simplifying the transfer process while preserving their existing statistics.
this would be cool, but R1 contains some things (like clamp and animation gizmo) that are replaced or unavailable in R2, so if your R1 room contains some of these, it could cause problems
It wouldn’t be too hard to have a process where it detects them and then warns you of them, maybe even offering to replace them and their connections with a CV2 equivalent like rotators or pistons. Other CV1 you would just need to be warned about, maybe be able to teleport to so you can find it and replace it with something CV2 or delete it.
Keeping your Rooms 1.0 metrics is definitely super important, i hope they implement this soon, i swear i’ve heard that it’s definitely on the roadmap somewhere but i may just be imagining that out of hope lol
Look, what I meant is to add a button that creates a whole new Room 2.0 subroom not to clone an existing Room 1.0 subroom. I hope you got my point.
