A Dislike Button

Currently, Rec Room allows players to like rooms, but there is no way to dislike them. Adding a Dislike Button would provide a more balanced rating system and help users identify low-quality or misleading rooms.

Why It’s Needed:

  • Some rooms may be clickbait, low effort, or broken, but there’s no way to indicate this.
  • A dislike option would improve room rankings by ensuring only well-made rooms rise to the top.
  • It allows players to give more accurate feedback beyond just likes.

Implementation Suggestions:

  • Display both Like and Dislike counts on the room page.
  • Ensure dislikes don’t impact room visibility too harshly to avoid abuse.
  • Add an optional feedback prompt for users disliking a room (e.g., “Broken,” “Misleading,” “Not Fun”).

This feature would enhance the user experience by making the rating system fairer and more transparent.

I totally agree with this, but unfortunately, I don’t think Rec Room will add this unless they do. idk

This is great, Ive seeen a few games that disguise themselves as an SCP game via the thumbnail and title, yet in the room photos it shows that it’s one of those stupid costume parks, that’s Clickbait.
