Velocity Changes Causes Players To "Fly"

Reproduction Steps

  1. Place down any velocity chips that changes your velocity, like Velocity Add or Velocity Set.
  2. Ensure the target is yourself or another player.
  3. Set the direction to be any direction, but upwards is preferable for debugging (at least for me).
  4. Execute the chip via events, messages, component outputs, debug execution, etc.
  5. Watch the target player stay at that velocity forever, unless the velocity changes.

Description

This setup demonstrates how applying velocity to a player using chips like Velocity Add or Velocity Set will cause the player will continue moving in that direction indefinitely—unless another chip or action changes their velocity. This issue seems to be occuring randomly, and it so happens to target one of my private rooms, that being ^BonkyBats_RR. This issue has made certain mechanics in the game glitched and I need a fix for this so that I can continue working on the game.
