Hey there! I am RiftRyan on Rec Room (Known as @FORT33N until Late August 2025) and I am currently in dire need for a Rec Room Studio creator to help with a room.
They don’t have to do anything major at all. it is just a small, simple task that even a cat could probably do it. (that is, if a cat knew how to use a PC.)
Here is (so far and probably the only) what the Rec Room Studio creator has to do:
- Open the room I provide them with in Rec Room Studio and add a video player that plays the video I provide them with.
Whoever gets hired will also barely have to do this.
I don’t really need them right now, but I will in September/October and afterward. If they do not know how to add the YouTube video I provide them with, I can show you.
Here is how:
Step 1: open the Youtube link I sent you (let’s say it’s this cool Rec Room IRL video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Actually that is too cool so let’s do this boring gorilla tag video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wU8Fu3dplc)
Step 2: Find a YouTube to MP4 video website (or Youtube to whatever type of video RRS accepts.) (I like to use ytmp4 because it doesn’t give me as much trouble as the others.) (Also if you see something else when you hit download, ignore it. It’s fake. If you didn’t know that, then…)
Step 3: Once it is downloaded, you are now able to import it into Rec Room Studio.
