Option to Upload and Insert the music from Rec.net to our rooms creation. & The Music Chip

This is the idea i have thought of recently.

Importing Music through Rec.net

How will we be able to do that?

The people that are: Rec Room Staff and the Rectubers under the Video Partner Program would be the people that will automaticly have access to this feature,

There can also be a Google Form Link that let’s you get access to it, Just like how There is a Google Form of Making the Classes Official, Becoming a Workshop Host or even the Share Screen.

Why not just use Rec Room Studio? That already let’s you import Custom Music into your own Room.

Sure, Rec Room Studio Lets you add custom Songs in your own Room. But that’s the problem!

As a Room Creator that’s mainly using Android I have no choice but either get someone to add music to my room through RRS with them probably messing it up and then i have to wait for them to fix it, or not to fix it.

Or just have a room without music which in some rooms would be very awkward.

How would this Feature Work?

Well this comes in with 2 parts.

1. A Dedicated Website that let’s you Upload your own Music, Configure it, Who can use it and Delete it

2. A Music Chip That you can use the song’s ID you or someone uploaded to Rec.net, or Use already existing RRO Songs

Here is the list of steps i think this will work:

  1. You will go to a Dedicated Website for it. (I am going to use rec.net/music as an example)

  2. You will name the Music, Add a Description to it, Configure who can use it, (These being: Friends, Favorites, Everyone or just You.) And Upload it.

  3. You will Upload it and wait for the Moderation to Accept it. It would be declined if the song you uploaded is/has: Copyrighted Music, Suggestive Content and Hateful Content.

  4. Once Accepted You will get on Rec Room and go to your room (Or your Dorm Room if you use the new Dorm Rooms that recently Came out!)

  5. Find a Music Chip in your Maker Pen and add it into your Room.

  6. Configure it and add in the ID you got from Rec.Net when you uploaded your music. (You can always go back and check the ID on the website incase you forgot it)

  7. With a Button that plays the song or stops it when pressed or Configured to automaticly play the song when joining the room. You are done and are now able to use your own Custom Song in your Room now!

The Game has a issue with Moderation, What if this idea won’t become a thing?

I still think this would be a neat feature, if we won’t be allowed to use Custom Music then it would be lovely to atleast be able to use RRO Music in our own rooms.

From OOBE, To Food Court, To River’s Theme. Et Cetera!

Sure we can kinda do this with the Paintball Chip thingie but it would still be lovely
to have a Music Chip For other Rooms that is not just Paintball.
