Reproduction Steps

I was creating normally when I glitched out of rec room. This happens pretty often when creating on IOS, so i wasn’t surprised. But when i rejoined, instead of the ‘PLAY’ button, it said ‘SWAP AND PLAY’. So i pressed it and it said i was playing on another device. I WAS NOT. I quickly changed my password, and then re-logged in. This has happened 4 times so far, with the latest one on Jan 17. I reported a bug each time but it said if it were moderation related, to contact you directly. Ive change my pass word four times, from old to new, old to new, new to old, then finished by changing it to completely random characters that only i could remember.

It is possible, though uncommon, that someone may have gained access to your account credentials. Occasionally, the Rec Room server experiences glitches on iOS devices, forcibly returning users to the main menu. Upon reaching the main menu, you may encounter the “Swap & Play” prompt—this typically stems from one of two causes:

  1. Your account information has been compromised or leaked.
  2. The Rec Room application is experiencing a technical malfunction.

I am inclined to believe the second cause, as I have personally encountered this issue with my own accounts.

Thanks for the info! It hasn’t happened since i posted, so i think it got fixed. But thank you for the help.
