Just want to get this back onto Joe’s radar!
With the push of self expression through avatars, I think now would be an amazing time to introduce FBT to the game. It will also bring a large amount of mature players to the platform.
I’ve had so many friend who I’ve introduced Rec Room to, who came from VRC, who are willing to play much more if there was FBT support. Please, do it for my friends! 
I think adding full-body tracking is an amazing idea personally…
I perfectly understand that it’s not a priority task right now because you want players to be happy with upgraded beans and you want to add things for roomies as well.
BUT here’s MY reason as to why I want full-body tracking in the game:
Self-expression
Right now I can stand, walk, run, crawl, and lie on my stomach. That’s not enough for me. I want to use my legs. The animations for full body and how the IK works right now are horrible, and yes, updates to that could be nice, but because it’s so new, people wouldn’t care as much as full-body tracking where I am my own IK.
Dancing
Yeah, dancing seems like a stupid thing, but it’s one of the most expensive things one can see. And the opportunity for content creation is endless. For example, TikTok dances.
Creation
Full-body tracking would not be just for players to have but also for room creators, especially with holotars and creators who create story-style rooms.
Here is the one and only downside I can see happen with full-body tracking in the game. And it’s inappropriate body movements in public spaces.
BUT I know Recroom moderation is very good, and to avoid anyone under the age of 13 seeing anything unsafe is to make sure they are unable to see players’ body movements with FBT.
Not make the player invisible but to just make it look like any other player in the room.
To continue, the worst that will happen when FBT gets implemented is an increase in reports for inappropriate movements.
I hope Recroom understands why I think full-body tracking is a needed feature/tool for this game.
It would help content creators, room creators, and players who just want to dance!
It could also increase player count as VR chat players could want to experience what it’s like in Recroom and how its full-body tracking works.
It could also bring some VR chat room creators to Recroom as well to try out room creation.

FBT in Rec Rooms is a great idea since we have full body avatars and I’m surprised didn’t get added when FBA did. Even though I’m on PSVR, it’d be great to see someone fully dance in the game.
Not to be the fun police, although FBT would seem fun to have in RR, but im just thinking.
Not everyone has suits or tracking devices for FBT, if RR makes so you need a e.g. Full FBT tracking suit with tracker cameras or trackers that you may have to put on your leg or something, i do not know. That would just cost a lot, possibly hundreds or more just to get a little feature in game. I also think that the line of coding would be hard on staff and i bet they would also need to make more settings in terms of privacy with FBT, because you know how SOME people are with that kind of stuff. It would be hard for them. It would take long and take a LOT of hours and days and possibly a lot of weeks. All that in mind, it’s like theres a 50/50 that either it will be implemented. Its a great feature, but it will cost a lot for the consumer. -CoachJr
Yes full body tracking can cost a lot BUT
There’s free apps you can use on your phone to get camera based tracking like viso
It’s not perfect but it works
There’s also a $20 app on steam called standable and though it’s not full body tracking it is full body estimation
Also pico players have access to native trackers
And so do vive players
The downside of price is there for actual trackers BUT we have work arounds
NO! ABSOLUTLY NNNNNOOOOOO. For the love of everything this would actually ruin rec room to the point that I’d actually quit. Js spend 30 seconds looking through the reviews on VR Chat and you’ll see the issue. The only people FBT would attract are the ones you do NOT want, if u get what I mean (30+ y/o’s who like the “small” people a little to much). It’s a simple common sense equation, FBT is expensive to the point that only adults buy it. FBT can only be used to do inappropriate things anyways.
Ending statement: idc what anyone else has to say, I’m always right on these kind of predictions. Big NO.

Feel free to block people who use it. I’m sure theres many people who would love to have FBT as a form of expression anyway. Why would we have legs if we can’t use them?
More people with more money joining RR = More features, games, stuff we like
havnt played this game in a while but i do also think that full body tracking should be added to rec room, some of the replies here are very narrow minded coming from people who seem to only see the bad side of what it could bring, some of the stereotypes mentioned are only a VERY small minority of full body users, also more adult users isnt necessarily a bad thing in a game where you can mainly only find like 9 year olds who you do NOT want to talk to
well its simple, the people who dont have the money just wont buy it. and the point of adding support for it wouldnt be for people to go and buy full body, but for the people who already have it to be able to use it in rec room
Not sure that I agree with that. I’m a FBT user on VRChat and I’d love for it to be in Rec Room, personally… Saying FBT has no uses other than inappropriate things?? Have you ever even played VRChat?? It’s to help socialize…Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions, but you’re just genuinely incorrect lol

But also comparing Recroom avatar to VR chat avatars… doesn’t work because well might as well compare a Recroom avatar to a Recroom avatar lol
Recroom more verbal when speaking so I think FBT wouldn’t end up being like that

full body tracking would be great but i think rec rrom needs to get their prioritising right like glitches psvr 2 which i bought just for rec rooom to find out its not available which is disappointing to say the least and they need to remove those bad cash grab games not to forget to fix their moderation i mean i have met more under 13 year old on a non-junior account then actual people that are appropiately aged for rec room although the idea would be good i think rec room needs to expand their team and fix their game without spending that much, i mean have you seen how many jobless software engineers are out their 
, they could easily be really trendy by getting a better leader for the company not one who cares about money one who cares about the game!
