Be offline and wait for a player to send you a friend request
2.Log back in the game
3.Open the friend request tab , you’ll see a notification dot but you won’t see your friend request.

Description
When you receive a friend request and you’re offline , you’ll receive the notification on your phone and you’ll see the blue notification dot in game , but when you’ll open the friend request tab , you won’t see the friend request.
I’ve had this issue happen sometimes too. Even notifications for things like co-owner invites, game invites, or friend requests don’t always show up properly in the notifications tab. They’ll appear as a dot above, but when I open the tab, nothing’s there. The notification disappears after a while, and when I check again, it’s gone.
However, the good thing is that it usually fixes itself after a little while.
