The first iteration of Maker AI is here. Maker AI is in experimental mode - that means who can use it and what it can do is limited. For now, you can use it in your dorm room if you are a RR+ subscriber. Why? RR+ subscribers get early access to new stuff.
You can use Maker AI to spawn, place and alter objects and for the first time, create textures in your dorm room. Check out these how-to videos and give it a try. We wanna know how it feels and what you do with it.
You can read more about how Maker AI works in our blog post from a few weeks ago. We’ve built in a bunch of moderation and safety features and so far, Maker AI has behaved itself. As always, we’ll be checking in for unexpected outcomes and will continue to tweak it.

i think this could be a fun feature and help the learning curve that creating new rooms require, but i think it will also be a gateway for cashgrab rooms clearly aimed at young children to make more money and spam the play menu with brainrot

on a more serious note, how did any of this look good behind the scenes?
i can understand somewhat for accessibility, but where does AI Images come into that?
You make a game about being creative and just add voice commands that are slower than most users going through maker pen tabs.
You all know how controvercial AI is, right? Imagine you brought cheesecake to a group of people, all allergic to cheesecake, Expecting them to eat it and like it.
You need to re-evaluate your priorities at rec room.
Ok ok I just Got done Make my Dorn with the maker Ai stuff it’s not that bad you still have to do some work Maker AI is ain’t that perfect and you still have to do the things you have to do such as you can’t say move to this corner it’s not going to directly put it in the corner that you want it you still have to move that object to the corner you want this is more like an assistant like a manager and you are the boss and I see great uses of it but It feels like sucking the creativity But not too much Also I realize this update kind of break everything as one chips are just don’t exist they simply do not exist
I think Understand the reason why I think cuz they don’t want you to like make slop Or just a preview of it But I believe they should change this. We do pay 7.99 a month
