Featured Room Slop + Feature Request

Since there is no particular category for this topic, I thought I would just bring it up under featured requests. As many know, RecRoom hasn’t been doing good recently, but why are they trying to make it worse? Currently as of March 8, Saturday, there is a room by the name of Granny that is featured. I’m pretty sure Granny is copyright, but not only that, there are SIX creator feedback buttons in the room. On top of that, look at the room cover. Absolutely nothing about this room is original, and it is against the creator code of conduct from what I was told.

What are your thoughts on this?

A little side request, the featured room should be more highlighted. It isn’t the main focus like how it used to be, and rooms are getting barely any visits when featured. My room was featured this week, but although it reached 1,000 cheers, that is little in comparison compared to when the featured rooms selection was the main focus. Also I’ve noticed, all the rooms getting featured get a majority of junior accounts, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it shows that the more mature audience isn’t seeing them.

  1. the thumbnail does not violate the policy

  2. the # of feedback buttons isnt really indicative of slop, and its not against the rules, but it is annoying

  3. the creator publishes garbage all the time though, but still, not typically against the rules, at least not what hes recently publishing.

  4. the game has 4 million views which means it has activated 4 million more times with the community than your typical tube art room.

I’m not saying the room cover violates the policy, I’m just saying it adds on to the mess and it isn’t original at all. But it technically does violate policy since it’s copyright

The number of feedback buttons isn’t against the rules, you are right about that, but that doesn’t mean it should be accepted. It isn’t “unique, high quality design” as it says on what they are looking for.

And there’s also the fact that the room is abusing the room’s tags and referencing system, using #quest and #pvp tags that in no way represent the room.
