Credit to Creators Ideas!?

Recently, one of my ideas was selected by Rec Room—the ‘Remove Unwanted Photos’ suggestion. However, I believe it’s unfair that while we, the creators, contribute ideas to improve the game, we don’t receive proper credit for them. Additionally, I saw a YouTube post by @Sk0l discussing the new update for the ‘Unwanted Photos’ feature, where someone claimed it was their idea. This highlights the importance of giving credit where it’s due. Let me know what you all think.

tl;dr, If you want to be credited for something, then make something worth getting credited for, like an invention or a room

I think this is pointless. If you want to be credited for something, then make something

I have been responsible (along with others in some cases) for the ideas behind several Cv2 chips, not once have I been credited, not only because I shouldn’t be credited for the idea of a function, but also because I’m not doing it for for myself, I’m doing it for the betterment of the player and creator community

I have also been responsible for finding and reporting multiple bugs that have been fixed, something I also wasn’t credited for when they were fixed, and its the same case, not only because I shouldn’t be credited for simply reporting a bug, but because, again, I’m not doing it for myself, I’m doing it for the betterment of the player and creator community

Ideas and bug reports are not only voluntary, but should be selfless, they should be for the point of improving the game, not getting a spotlight

Okay… but where would they put the credit? Should it say “Idea suggested by @DVader51” every time you remove a photo?

CrypticCreator, I don’t think you fully understand the point I’m making. I’m not talking about getting credit for rooms or inventions—I’m referring to the ideas we submit for game improvements. Yes, I understand we’re doing this to benefit the community and the game, but what’s the point if we don’t even get credited? That’s the least Rec Room could do. Plus, proper crediting can help prevent others from claiming the idea as their own.
