Idk if this will help but I had the same problem with the maker pen. What I figured out is try to save the room if you can open the this room tab and after just close RecRoom and rejoin to join get rid of the maker pen. If it happens after saving the room then just close RecRoom and rejoin. For me it stoped after like two months but if it still happens for more then try to contact support.
