So, it’s been like this for around a year or two, and I always thought I just hit the max number of rooms. And I have no clue why or when I could have gotten a map taken down or anything. Am I banned from making rooms or what?

I have been playing for 5yrs and never knew there was a limit till more recently.
Try recycling some you don’t need or use?
I have been, but I can’t make any of the new maker ai dorm rooms, or any rooms 2.0 rooms
i had this problem i moved rr to a different folder it fixed it
It’s because I hit the max limit of owned rooms which is 1087. (Including co-owned rooms)
cant you like just delete/remove yourself from being co owner
Yes! You can delete just you from co-owner.
