I would also want this, but I highly doubt they will add it, atleast not for a long time as it could raise a lot of security issues.

It is? The OP is referring to being able to use discord, discord is frequent for allowing webhook’s which use HTTP in which RecRoom would need to provide a HTTP proxy and handling of the HTTP request to see if it was legitimate, this chip is saved in the room, etc.
RecRoom doesn’t have a game server players connect to, a player is usually assigned the room authority and all the players in the room have all the circuits. RecRoom would need to provide a relay to avoid exposing their player’s IP addresses.
I was mistaken I thought they were saying that an API could steal an IP address, not safely using APIs through Dedicated Servers. That is the reason I said only the developer portal APIs. As so yes SnugRR is right you could handle API chips doing that safely.
SnugRR that’s not what API is! Plus, it would most likely be only Rec Rooms public APIs in the Developer API Pannel. Example: Rec Room ID bulk!
