A Way to Monitor Rooms While Being Invisible

I think adding a way to monitor your rooms without actually joining them would be really helpful. For example, you could choose an instance of your room to fly around in, while being invisible to the players. This would allow you to see how people are interacting with your room, see if everything is running smoothly, and see if someone is violating the code of conduct. It would be a useful tool for room creators to handle issues too. I’m not sure if Rec Room would ever add something like this, but I think it would be a cool feature to have. :purple_heart:

This would be very useful for testing how the game is doing without having to join it.

This is an interesting idea, however I can see this tool being abused.

Perhaps this is why the current invisibility setting still leaves you visible to players when you’re in range of them?

I can see how spectating players in a public room can be useful without them knowing that you(or more generally a staff member) is present as they might act differently if they know somebody may be watching.

As for testing purposes, sure!
I can see how this would be useful, where in a live environment there may be laggy, high-latency devices that mess with the functionality of the circuits in the room. Joining the room directly might thwart or cover-up this behavior as you may take authority over the room circuits on a higher fidelity device like a PC.

Neat idea!

There’s too many admins and moderators who would violate peoples privacy for this to ever happen at least in my opinion.

I was thinking about that too
