While the controls may be bad for mobile (and not as bad for controllers), RunTheBlock was actually quite playable on keyboard & mouse. It is also quite an amazing for how it was made in terms of the circuits being wired up (I’m talking as a person who was able to easily understand Cv2 due to how knowledgeable I am in computers and programming in general).
I can agree with you on that. Sadly, some of the investors are wanting changes to the system that is against the whole ideals that Rec Room has stood had for years – why else are so many of these AAA studio games just recycling the same old formula with HD graphics and a launch day of super buggy gameplay (and sub-par story) because they were rushing the developers? It is a formula that they know works and gets them money.
As far as I’ve noticed, the only new video game releases that have been good while also being innovated are far more likely to come from indie devs rather than AAA studios these days.
