Reproduction Steps

SCREEN MODE ON DEFAULT/ALTERNATIVE ONLY

Option 1: Dashing

  1. Enter 3rd Person
  2. Hold a sword (doesn’t matter which, but the Cutlass is easiest due to the longer dash)
  3. Hold your attack button to charge up a dash swing
  4. Let go to dash swing
  5. Whilst dashing (mid-animation or dash), holster the sword on either the hip or shoulder
  6. If done correctly, you should be permanently stuck in the Rotation-Locked 3rd Person Mode, even after switching control schemes or rooms, the only way to revert this is by fully reopening Rec Room

Option 2: Regularly Swinging

  1. Enter 3rd Person
  2. Hold a sword (doesn’t matter which)
  3. Hit your attack button to swing
  4. Whilst swinging (mid-animation), holster the sword on either the hip or shoulder
  5. If done correctly, you should be permanently stuck in the Rotation-Locked 3rd Person Mode, even after switching control schemes or rooms, the only way to revert this is by fully reopening Rec Room

Description

There is a bug on Default / Alternative Controls for Screen, which permanently forces them into 3rd Person (unless the game has been reopened)

This would be a minor issue if it wasn’t so easily reproduced or accidentally triggered. There isn’t much else to explain about this, it’s a very short and easy bug to understand and reproduce, the reproduction steps should be well detailed.

This happens with any sword.
