Rec Room uses way too much CPU

Rec Room has been using way too much CPU since around a week. It doesn’t matter what room I’m in. I always have the same programs open while playing and Rec Room’s CPU usage has never been as high before. I have Ryzen 5 5600X. Someone was also reporting this issue on Discord. Restarting Rec Room fixes it.

I’ve been having this issue as well ever since the update dropped.

If I have the game running too long or scroll through too many menus or avatar items my CPU usage is always gobbled up.

Seems to be a memory leak which can lead to a lot of CPU usage. You will need to sit this one out unfortunately until they find whats causing it. It appears to be when I am on the “Play” menu or the avatar customizer.
