For advertising your skills,
Show and tell is supposed to be used to show off inventions, etc.
Additionally, it’s better to post on the Discord because you will get more attention
There’s a ‘Looking for team’ section here for contests so its definitely intended to be used for that purpose. If you go here and select all time / posts you’ll see a good number of people looking for teams and discussing the contest Contests - Creator Forum
