Yep I experienced this too, I also made a report about this bug over 2 months ago.

Yes, Rec Room please fix this bug, it is honestly so annoying! I play on Xbox, but as far as I am concerned, every screen mode device has this bug. It seems they need to adjust the placement of the crossbow.
