Corrupted room please help!

CORRUPTED ROOM PLEASE HELP!!
This room I am working called ItemHek is corrupted, it wont load circuits in game, and in studio it saids: Could not open the Maker Pen scene.
One or more errors occurred. (Object
reference not set to an instance of an
object).
If anyone knows how to fix this please send it, for background context, i put a maker pen object in my prefabs as a joke before the corruption.

I suggest contacting Rec Room Support here https://recroom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Tell them as much detail as you can. Make sure to use the correct topic aswell to help the staff out too

Some edit made in a recent Maker Pen save of the room may have caused the corruption. Try downloading an older save of the room via the Rec Room Studio Window: Download button

I have but it doesn’t work, no saves work

This seems to be happening to other players too, you just described something almost the exact same as another person did, they can’t delete, move, they just straight up can’t use makerpen in any way. I don’t know why this is happening but it is a horrible bug, i haven’t experienced it yet but i probably will eventually.

It sounds like you’re experiencing quite a frustrating issue with ItemHek. The error message you’re seeing often indicates that there’s an object in your scene that’s either missing or has not been initialized properly.

Since you mentioned adding a Maker Pen object to your prefabs, it might be worth checking if that object is causing the problem. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Remove the Maker Pen Object: If you can access your project files outside of the corrupted scene, try removing the Maker Pen prefab that you added before the corruption. Sometimes, just deleting the problematic object can help resolve the issue.

  2. Check for Null References: If you’re familiar with the code or any scripts associated with your project, check for any references that might not be set, which can cause this error. Look for any instances where an object might not be initialized.

  3. Backup and Restore: If you have backups, try restoring an earlier version of your scene before the corruption occurs. This is a good way to get back to a working state.

  4. Contact Support: If none of the above works, it might be worth reaching out to the support community for the software you’re using. They could have more specialized advice for resolution.

Hopefully one of these steps will help you get back on track!
