I made a white recolor of the Solarpunk Contest rewards because I saw a lot of people weren’t feeling the original set. The original was too yellow and gave off more of a medieval or ancient vibe. It didn’t really match the clean, techy look most people associate with Solarpunk.
The white version fits the theme better. It’s cleaner, brighter, and more in line with what players expected from the contest.
I think this is a chance for Rec Room to show they’re listening. Between Rooms 2.0 issues and all the stress around it, something like this could go a long way with the community.
