Introductions: Hey Forum peoples, I’m a builder/creator in Rec Room and I’ve seen so many amazing suggestions sumitted to the forum. So I would like to add to the converstation.

  1. This is more of a quality of life setting thing but I would like to request a Resolution option in the settings (Ex. 1080p, 1440p, 2160p) Mainly to make the game a little clearer for those on different monitor opitons. (This tie’s into my next suggestions)

  2. Camera Resolution options. I mainly encountered this problem when playing with the ‘upload thumbnail’ option on Rec Net for rooms (Which I absolutly love the option). The only problem is that you need a 1440p image and currently you can’t get above 1080p with the normal camera. This would allow for creators to not jump through hoops to create a 1440p image and upgrade the clarity of pictures in the process.

  3. This is basically the same suggestion as (2) but for streamer cameras as well.

  4. This is a more of a suggestion that would just be cool but I’m not sure how feesable it is. I would like to be able to take video and record from directly in the streamer cam setting (This is also kind of a overhaul streamer cam settings suggestion).
    So I would like to take video directly from streamer cam and be able to download it directly on my pc so that its a little bit more ‘run and gun’.
    Next up on this little settings upgrade, I would like to see a multi-cam recording setting (only really makes sense with a in game recording option). This would be so we can set up multiple camera points and record them all instead of one at a time becasue OBS and RR has their limitations.

  5. A directors monitor. Basically a way to connect a streamer cam point to a display that shows what the camera is showing. This would make team based recording projects MUCH smoother.

Conclusion: Most of these are more quality of life suggestions for creators but also much needed upgrades that seem to have been overlooked. If anyone else here has some ideas to add please leave them below or let me know what you think. Thank you all!
